The international education initiative Youth against AIDS (YAA) presented its actual campaign together with  Linda-Gail Bekker, President of the International AIDS Society (IAS), in South Africa. Young people from all over the world are committed to Youth against AIDS (YAA). But who is working for our organisation, how does our work look like and why do we actually do what we’re doing? To get you a glimpse behind the scenes, we are going to introduce you to the faces and stories behind YAA in the next few weeks. After our CEO Daniel, you get to know our board member Lennart Falk.

Youth against AIDS in India

To ensure that the wishes and views of young people from all over the world are also represented at this year’s World AIDS Conference, our CEO Daniel Nagel and our CHRO Lennart Falk have spent the last few days in India. The educational initiative Youth Against AIDS (YAA) is enforcing the role of the youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS. As official partner of this year’s 22nd International AIDS Conference, 300 youth activists will represent their generation’s interests in summer in Amsterdam. To end HIV it depends on the youth. That’s why Youth against AIDS (YAA) brings more than 300 youth activists from all around the world in summer as ambassadors to the 22nd International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam. Youth against AIDS goes international and starts a crowdfunding campaign together with GoFundMe.

The educational initiative Youth against AIDS (YAA) is enforcing the role of the youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS. As official partner of this year’s 22nd International AIDS Conference, 300 youth activists will represent their generation´s interests in the summer in Amsterdam. Therefore, YAA and GoFundMe start a worldwide crowdfunding campaign at the 14th March and by that enable a worldwide engagement against HIV/AIDS.
