Michel Sidibé is the executive director of UNAIDS. The Joint United Nations Program is working towards stopping new HIV infections and ensuring that everyone living with HIV has access to HIV treatment. We had the chance to talk to Michel during the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam. Here’s what he thinks about the possibilities the youth has to help ending AIDS.

Owen Ryan was the Executive Director of the International AIDS Society (IAS) – one of the worlds largest membership associations for people who are working on the front line of HIV. At the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam we had the opportunity to talk to him and discuss the role of the youth when it comes to fighting HIV and AIDS.

This year, we are official partner of the 22nd International AIDS Conference that takes place in Amsterdam. On this occasion, we invited a total of 300 volunteers from all over the world to join us, present their projects and to network. We want the voice of youth to be heard not only in Amsterdam, but everywhere. Because we are the generation that can end AIDS. And these are our stories …
